THANK YOU to the River Grove and our surrounding communities for the total number of donations totaling 5,000 pairs of eyeglasses and five milk crates full of cell phones.
The September dinner meeting of the River Grove Lions Club was held at the River Front Park under the beautiful stars and park lights. All had a good time. We are fortunate to have such a great club.

Sharon Hawerton was presented with an award by the Illinois Council of the Blind for her many years of service helping the blind community communicate.
The River Grove Lions Club, serving the community since 1949, recently made a donation of $1,000 to the Hawaii Lions Foundation.
