Our October dinner was held this month at the Homestretch Inn and graciously hosted by owners Tracy and Deon Kruse. We were treated to many fall favorites… brats, baked beans, homemade potato salad, and chocolate éclair cake for dessert. Not an empty belly in the place!
We were also visited by Lion Carole Burke Hallberg, Windy City Lions Club. She is heavily involved in District activities. Before she was a lion, she worked as a videographer and did a lot of videos for the LCI conventions, website, etc. She works on the International President’s videos every year.
They are currently working on a video shoot in Chicago and want to highlight the RGLC’s Sensory Path & Park. We are extremely honored and excited to be a part of LCI history. We will be reaching out to our members asking for their participation and hope you can join us.
Gianni's Ristorante and Pizzeria in Franklin Park donated two $25 gift cards and these were raffled off at the end of the evening. Congratulations to our two winners... Lions Sharon Howerton and Mike Warchol. Mangia bene!
FYI – The RGLC honors our Veterans on November 6th at the American Legion Hall. Stay tuned for more dinner details.
