MEETING MINUTES

July 17, 2024

River Grove Lions Club Community center Call to order 7:02

Attendance: Tracy, Brent, Margie, Ron, Ralph, Marcelo, JR, Kurt K, Kathy S, Robbie, Lisa, Keith

‍Recording secretary Minutes: Per Tracy – minutes were previously circulated; Mt by Marcelo and 2nd by Brent - all in favor

‍Membership Per Ralph: some former members were dropped from the list because they did not respond to renewal request and/or are choosing not to renew - current roster about 93

‍Treasurer: Brent read balances provided by Kristy: General $32,043.16. with Pending payment of scholarship and $839 for dramshop Humanitarian – $2,721.62 Discussion that we need to have an internal audit done and that Harold is a retired accountant and he can assist with doing this

‍IT: Per Lisa - she will add some pictures from our installation and shred day, we need to add a sponsorship form on the website, Kurt emailed Dominick and he will put the ad on the site and make it digital and they are looking into have the ad book put into a digital form - which will save us money for mailing and printing costs

‍Humanitarian: Per Marcelo - he has processed a senior resident in town for glasses who will see our eye doctor

‍School - no report

‍New business: we will move the meetings to the legion starting for the August 21st meeting

‍President’s report: (Margie filled in for Jack) - please sell tickets, raffles and volunteer at the S&L fest on August 3rd!!! Mt to Adjourn Brent and 2nd by Marcelo – All in favor
