The Chicago Lighthouse is a world-renowned social service organization serving the blind, visually impaired, disabled, and Veteran communities. Recognized as a pioneer in innovation since 1906, The Chicago Lighthouse provides vision rehabilitation services, education, employment opportunities and assistive technology for people of all ages.
An RGLC tradition is our annual Easter visit to The Chicago Lighthouse. The RGLC arrives in the morning bringing a donation of over 100 Easter baskets. This visit is one of our favorite events. Each year several club members escort the Easter Bunny and assist him in handing out these Easter treats. It's a great social event for the all patients and RG members.
