Thank you to all who attended the Christmas dinner hosted by Mazzini Verdi Club in Franklin Park. A delicious family style meal of salad, pasta Bolognese, roast pork with potatoes, chicken limone, a vegetable medley, and an ice cream dessert was provided in abundance. We ate like royalty.
The club recognized and celebrated Lion Mike Warchol as “Lion of the Year”. Lion Mike’s dedication to his fellow veterans and the River Grove community is a proud example of his commitment as the driving force behind the completion of the River Grove Veterans Memorial, which began 12 years ago. We are proud to call Lion Mike a staple of the River Grove Lions Club and our friend.
